According to JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, all candidates can now access and print their notification slips.

In a statement released on Thursday, Benjamin revealed that the 2024 UTME Notification Slip is now ready for printing. He further emphasized that the examination is set to commence on Friday, 19th April 2024. This information is crucial for candidates as it contains details such as the examination date, venue, time, and other important instructions.

To obtain their notification slips, candidates are advised to visit the JAMB website at www.jamb.gov.ng. On the website, they should locate the “2024 UTME Slip Printing” option. By entering their registration numbers and clicking on the print button, candidates can generate their notification slips. It’s worth noting that the slips can be printed from any location as long as there is internet access.

Benjamin stressed the importance of printing the notification slips in a timely manner. Candidates are strongly encouraged to print their slips on or before Friday, 19th April 2024. By doing so, they will have sufficient time to familiarize themselves with the examination centers to avoid any delays on their scheduled examination date. It’s essential to arrive at the venue on time, as lateness is strictly prohibited.

The 2024 UTME is scheduled to span from Friday, April 19th to Monday, April 29th, 2024. Candidates should take note of these dates and make the necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and successful examination experience.

JAMB, as the governing body responsible for conducting the UTME, plays a vital role in the admission process for Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. The board’s mission is to ensure a fair and transparent system that places qualified candidates in tertiary institutions based on merit. JAMB continually strives to improve its services and provide valuable resources for candidates and stakeholders.

In line with its mandate, JAMB has developed various online systems and platforms to streamline processes and provide support. These include the E-Facility, which allows candidates to access online services and make payments, and the IBASS (JAMB Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System), which provides comprehensive information on courses and syllabi. The Central Online Support System is available for inquiries, complaints, and helpline services, while the Central Admissions Processing System facilitates the admission process.

JAMB also recognizes the importance of technology in managing its operations effectively. Systems such as the Centres Management System and Stock Management System enable efficient management of examination centers and resources. Additionally, the JAMB Central Reporting System and various conference presentations contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB, leads the board with a wealth of experience and expertise. He has made significant contributions to academia and has been recognized with numerous awards and honors. His leadership and commitment to inclusive access to quality higher education have been instrumental in shaping JAMB’s strategic roadmap for the years 2024 to 2028.

JAMB’s announcement regarding the availability of the 2024 UTME notification slips marks an important milestone for candidates. With the slips in hand, candidates can finalize their preparations, familiarize themselves with the examination details, and approach the UTME with confidence. JAMB remains dedicated to providing a fair and efficient examination process, ultimately contributing to the educational advancement of Nigerian students.
